What is Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)?

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) is a partnership between grower and eater. When you become a Wellspring CSA shareholder, you are investing in a share of the season’s bounty of fresh, quality, certified-organic produce from our farm. That early revenue stream gives us, the growers, resources to buy seeds, compost, irrigation supplies, etc. at the beginning of the season.

Every week for the 20 week season, shareholders receive a box full of fresh, local produce that your Wellspring Farm Team harvested for you. We like to fill the boxes with familiar favorites (salad greens, onions, carrots, tomatoes), as well as, veggies our grandparents were accustomed to (like kohlrabi, fennel and turnips). Shareholders also receive a weekly newsletter which includes information on items in the boxes, storage/cooking tips and recipes, produce identification photos, farm news, and invites to special events!

About Wellspring's Growing Practices
The farm is USDA Certified Organic through MOSA. Certified-organic produce is grown without using specific conventional pesticides, fertilizers made with synthetic ingredients or sewage sludge, bio-engineering, or ionizing radiation.
